The day started out clear and sunny and cold. The sun warmed the day nicely, and everyone enjoyed it.

By mid-afternoon clouds started marching in, light and fluffy, highlighted by the wonderful sun.
Late afternoon the clouds became more ominous, trying to hide the sun.
But the sun shone through. Rain expected tonight, then cold and snow. But today the sun reminded us that it is always there, whether we see it or not.

I love how cats enjoy the sun, even the way they squint their eyes.
Anita, the draft fillies really have long winter coats. The adults don't. I love their shaggy coats :).
